Profile - David Tan

David Tan has been a legal counsellor in Thailand since 1997. From 1997 through to 2006 he practiced at 2 Thai law firms serving mainly foreign clients, both corporate and individuals. David’s practice focuses on helping clients with commercial, corporate, labor, real estate and computer issues.

Prior to joining Asian University in June 2006, David taught Business Law on a part time basis to students of international business programs at universities. At Asian University he lectures on Business Law, Labor Relations and Information Technology Law.

David graduated with an MBA from Central Queensland University and a Bachelor of Law (Honors) from University of Buckingham.

David is the author of the book – A Primer of Thai Business Law (distributed by Chulalongkorn University Book Center). He also writes a column on real estate and business legal issues for Pattaya Mail newspaper and the RELAX Journal.
